Today in Children’s Church

We had some fun today in Children’s Church learning about how the very first Christian Church used the power of the Holy Spirit and cooperation in order to spread the Good News of Jesus. I also showed the kids how I learned to water-ski when I was nine. If it hadn’t been for my grandma holding my vest, my aunts putting on my skis, my mom and dad yelling encouragement from the boat, and my dad’s cousin bribing me with money (two-bits, which translated to twenty-five cents, which was worth a lot back then), I would never have done it! It’s always easier to do something when you have others to help you. So let’s keep on helping and encouraging each other, okay?

Two people are better off than one, for they can help each other succeed. Ecc 4:9

Meet Jill

I guess that makes sense, since I’ve been working in children’s and youth ministry for almost thirty years, and kids inspire me with their unlimited potential to make a positive difference in our world.
